We are seeking a professional and experienced Housekeeper/Butler to join a fully staffed, formal household in Regent’s Park. The property is a beautifully presented 4‑storey, 5‑bedroom home, with three adjoining mews properties also requiring care. The family consists of a couple, their two children, and a dog, with extended family occasionally staying in one of the mews houses. The household is run to 7‑star boutique hotel standards, and the successful candidate must demonstrate exceptional housekeeping expertise alongside polished service and Butler skills. While a Laundress is employed, the role may involve light laundry duties at weekends. This is a team environment: you will join four other Housekeepers, a Butler, and a Lady’s Maid, all reporting to the Private Office.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain the household and mews properties to the highest standard of cleanliness, order, and presentation
- Perform polished service duties, including table service, drinks, and assisting with family entertaining
- Light laundry tasks, primarily on weekends, as needed
- Respond proactively to requests from the family and Private Office
- Support and collaborate with other household staff in a professional team environment
- Occasional travel with the family (approximately twice per year)
- Prior experience in formal, fully staffed private households, ideally with combined housekeeping and butler responsibilities
- Exceptional attention to detail, presentation, and discretion
- Professional, proactive, and flexible, with a polished, can‑do attitude
- Comfortable working around children and a dog
- Team player, capable of collaborating effectively with other household staff
