An UHNW family is seeking an experienced Live-out Housekeeper to maintain exceptional standards across their primary UK residence. Reporting to the Estate Services Manager, the Housekeeper will be responsible for daily cleaning duties, special projects, and supporting the smooth running of the home. Travel between properties and flexibility with hours is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily housekeeping duties to a 5-star standard, including cleaning, dusting, polishing, and laundry
- Clean bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas, including fine finishes, and delicate surfaces
- Bed-making and linen changes according to protocol
- Maintain hallways, stairways, and communal areas
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness and stock in kitchen and fridges
- Report damages, maintenance issues, or suspicious activity to the Estate Services Manager
- Follow safety and hygiene protocols; use only approved products
- Support occasional meal prep and assist with service if needed
- Restock supplies and ensure equipment is maintained
- Attend team meetings and perform ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of private household or luxury hospitality experience
- Longevity in previous roles (ideally 3–4 years in key positions)
- Preferably fluent in English with excellent communication and discretion
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid UK driving licence and personal vehicle
- Must live within commuting distance
- Experience in VIP households or high-end hotels
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, follow routines, and maintain high standards
- Physically fit
- Available for travel up to 30% of the time (mileage reimbursed)
