Location: Mayfair, London

Salary: £50,000 gross per annum (flexible DOE)

Start Date: Dec/Jan

Schedule:

  • When the family are not in residence: Monday–Friday, 9.00am–5.00pm
  • When the family are in residence: 6 days per week, 8–10 hours per day (rota-based)

Our clients are seeking an experienced and discreet Housekeeper to join their fully staffed household.

Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for the cleanliness, tidiness, and overall presentation of the residence, ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed promptly and to an exceptional standard.
  • Daily housekeeping including dusting, polishing, vacuuming, mopping, and floor maintenance throughout the property and staff areas.
  • Specialist care of fine finishes, including marble, silver, glass, fabrics, and china.
  • Change and refresh bed linen to the highest standards and undertake light laundry duties as required.
  • Maintain housekeeping and pantry stock levels, reporting replenishment needs to the Head Housekeeper.
  • Oversee staff communal areas, ensuring cleanliness, organisation, and regular replenishment (eg, changing towels, emptying bins and dishwashers).
  • Assume sole responsibility for the master suite during busy periods, maintaining a consistent 7-star level of detail and presentation.
  • Report maintenance or repair issues to the House Manager or Head Housekeeper promptly.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Female only due to cultural reasons.
  • Proven experience within a UHNW private residence or 5‑star hotel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with palace-level housekeeping standards.
  • Professional, discreet, and immaculately presented.
  • A team player with a positive and proactive approach.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Friendly, courteous, and energetic demeanour.
