Our clients, a busy professional couple based on the outskirts of Canterbury, Kent, are seeking a Rota Nanny/Housekeeper/Cook. They are a fun-loving family with two energetic and charming boys, a daughter, and a small, loving dog.
The couple are seeking a trustworthy individual who understands working within a dynamic household, and is mindful of boundaries and discretion. As this is a hands-on role, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the household. The family need someone who has great energy, enthusiasm, is calm and organised with a good eye for detail, as well as having a flexible and positive attitude towards life.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing and serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner of nutritious and healthy family meals – knowledge of non-dairy diets is a bonus
- Clearing away, tidying, and cleaning the kitchen
- Dealing with grocery shopping and petty cash
- Placing orders for household supplies including food, household, and bathroom items
- Maintaining stock control to minimise waste but also ensuring refrigerator is clean, and out-of-date items discarded
- Tidying and cleaning throughout including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, changing bed linen etc.
- Collecting, washing, and ironing laundry
- Arranging for dry-cleaning, indoor plant watering, door answering, and general errands
- Childminding during the mornings if parents have worked the night before
- Feeding the dog
It is essential that you have a valid driver's licence and use of own car is preferable.
