The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

A lovely role for an experienced and energetic Nanny. The family consists of the mother and her two children, a 9 year old girl who is at a local school and a 12 year old boy who will be boarding. It is most important whoever the Principal brings on board will be able to provide a happy, organised and calm environment for her and the children. There will be a need to proxy parent when the Principal is away. There will be a live-in Domestic Couple employed and the Nanny and the Housekeeper will be expected to cover each others weekends on a rota.

The ideal candidate should have gained similar experience within a private household, be confident to cook family style food and hold a full UK driving licence.

It will be a 5 day working week but an expectation to work each alternate weekends and take two consecutive days off in the week instead. Hours will vary but will usually be 7am-7pm with the occasional evening till 9 : 30pm when proxy parenting.

An example schedule / routine of the day will look like :

  • Wake up the children if Principal does not do so
  • Cook and serve breakfast
  • Clear the breakfast table and dishes and load dishwasher
  • Take the children to school if Principal or Housekeeper is not doing so
  • Pick up any groceries needed for the day (this duty will be split with the Housekeeper)
  • Tidy the childrens bedrooms and ensure rooms and cupboard are tidy
  • Do children\’s laundry
  • Run any errands required
  • Pick up and drop off any dry cleaning
  • Walk dogs if the Principal isnt walking them
  • Manage the children\’s diaries and take actions in response to emails
  • Cook lunch if the children are home and clear afterwards
  • Manage the children’s social diaries and activities
  • Prepare and cook dinner for the children on occasions
  • Prepare a pick up snack from school
  • Collect children from school
  • Supervise / tutor kids extra work if Principal not free
  • Let pets out and lock up at night
  • Ensure the children have their uniform and school bags organised

Hours : As noted above, 5 days per week, 7am-7pm with a long break in the middle of the day. Longer hours on occasions.

Accommodation : Own large bedroom and bathroom within the residence.

Salary : £500 – 600 net per week.
