A busy family living in Hendon, North London, is seeking a live-in Junior Nanny for their 3 young children - aged B9, G7 & B3. The ideal candidate will be fun, warm, proactive, and have a great work ethic. You should be willing to work alongside the parents and be part of a family-oriented team.
The role will be Monday to Friday, typically working a maximum of 35 hours per week (during term time), providing wrap-around care and extended hours during school holidays or when the children are sick. All 3 children attend school/nursery daily, which are about a 5 to 10 minutes’ walk from the family’s residence. The children start school around 8.20 am and finish around 4/5 pm, depending on their schedules and extracurricular activities.
All nanny duties required but not limited to:
- Supporting with the morning routine
- School runs and pick-ups - 10-minute walk from the family’s residence
- Helping with homework
- Laundry for the children
- Meal preparation and cooking for the whole family (guidance will be given)
- Assisting with the evening routine – dinner, bath, and bed
- Occasional babysitting
The female principal is more than happy to teach the candidate all they need to know regarding their dietary requirements (Kosher). It is not necessary to have prior knowledge of this but should be willing to learn and prepare food accordingly.
It is preferred that candidates have prior childcare experience or a minimum of 1 year nanny experience.
