Our client who resides in Hampshire is looking for a Live-in Junior Housekeeper/Cook to ensure the smooth running of their household. You will be joining a large, fully staffed household, and will be primarily taking care of the cleanliness of the property, as well as occasional light cooking (roughly twice per week) under the instruction of the chef. Often the chef will prepare the food to be reheated at meal times. When the clients entertain you may be required to assist the service team. All of these things can be taught to the right person with the correct attitude.
Average working day: 10 hours, 6 days per week.

Duties:
- Ensuring property is immaculate at all times
- Welcome principals and guests and ensure a warm, professional reception
- Attend to guest requests promptly and discreetly
- Assist with personal service, including coat handling, luggage assistance and seating arrangements
- Assist service team in organising events or private functions
- Monitor household supplies and report shortages to senior staff
- Serve meals, drinks and refreshments according to protocol
- Assist in setting tables
- Ensure presentation and service quality meet household or hotel standards
Working Conditions:
Working Days: 6 days a week.
Working Hours: 10 hours a day (down time when the principals are away) – most likely 11am-9pm, flexibility required.
Accommodation: Shared cottage with own large bedroom.
Salary: £30,000-£40,000gpa for the right candidate.
Benefits: Travel and accommodation provided when working overseas; a bonus will also be given.
