Job Description:

We are seeking a Live-in Housekeeper/All-Rounder to join a warm and welcoming family based in Somerset. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting two connected households, located just a 3-minute drive (or short walk) from each other.

The role is ideally suited to someone kind, flexible, and proactive, with a genuine willingness to roll up their sleeves and help keep both homes running smoothly. The family are down-to-earth, dog-friendly, and looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude who can become a valued part of their daily life.

• Morning: Working at the relatives\’ home with housekeeping duties
• Afternoon: Working at the principals’ family home (3-minute drive or short walk)
• Cooking: Simple, freshly prepared meals for the family
• Accommodation: A comfortable and private 1-bedroom cottage is provided on-site

Duties include:

• General housekeeping and upkeep of both homes
• Family laundry and ironing
• Simple, healthy family cooking
• Supporting Mum with childcare and daily routines
• Walking and caring for the family’s 3 dogs
• Being a helpful, flexible presence around the home, particularly when Dad is travelling for work
• Accompanying family on their holidays in Europe and the UK

Working Hours:

• 40–45 hours per week, Tuesday – Saturday (flexibility required)
• Flexibility required around family routines and travel schedule
