Our client, with a residence in Ascot, is looking for a live-in qualified Governor to care for their 8-year-old boy. The candidate will be responsible for:
- Structuring routines
- Physical/social developmental and attending to educational needs
- Teaching English in an interactive manner
- Teaching reading and writing
- Playing with the child
- Participating in sporting activities, going out for walks and exploring
We are searching for a candidate who is familiar with the British curriculum/teaching methods and has a teaching background in the UK to assist with improving the English and Mathematics skills of the boy. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and qualified educator with several years of relevant experience and a good understanding of child development – experience within a school and private family is necessary.
The ideal candidate will also be sporty and dynamic, with good creativity for indoor and outdoor child-friendly activities – the client is searching for a candidate who is happy to play tennis, football, go running and swimming with the boy, and in general just has a genuine love for children, with a caring and friendly personality.
The role is to become like an older friend/brother to the boy – it is essential you are comfortable to fit into this family’s life and live among them. The accommodation provided is a separate bedroom with private bathroom.
