A warm and loving family in Notting Hill is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Nanny/Housekeeper to care for their 5.5-year-old son. The ideal candidate will have a passion for childcare, household management, and a strong background in providing high-quality support for a busy family.

The position is Live-in, and offers an opportunity for international travel across Europe. A French-Speaking Nanny is highly preferred, as the family is keen for their son to learn and be immersed in the French language.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide loving, attentive care for the 5.5-year-old boy, including school pickups, playtime, meal preparation, and bedtime routines
  • Help with homework, and provide educational activities that foster the child’s development
  • Keep the child’s bedroom and play areas tidy and organised
  • Assist with light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning, and general tidying of common areas
  • Prepare healthy, balanced meals for the child, and occasionally for the family
  • Ensure the child’s safety and well-being at all times
  • Organise and participate in fun and educational outings
  • Travel with the family to European destinations, and assist in childcare and household management whilst abroad

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience as a Nanny/Housekeeper in a private household, with experience caring for young children
  • Fluency in French is strongly preferred to support the child’s language development
  • A nurturing, patient, and calm demeanour with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage a variety of household duties efficiently and independently
  • Flexible, reliable, and willing to travel with the family
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Must have an understanding of child development, and be proactive in engaging the child in educational and creative activities

  • A French speaker, ideally with a background or interest in early childhood education
