A lovely family based in Holland Park is seeking an experienced, hands-on Houseman / All-Rounder to support the smooth running of their home. This is a varied role suited to someone proactive, flexible, and happy to assist wherever needed. A positive attitude and willingness to adapt to the family's changing requirements are essential. There is a part-time cleaner employed, so this is not a heavy housekeeping role, but the successful candidate should be happy to assist with general household duties when required.
Duties will include:
- Assisting with the day-to-day running of the household
- Driving the principals as required
- Preparing simple, family-style meals and light cooking
- Ensuring the home is always well presented and organised
- Assisting with packing and unpacking for travel
- Basic laundry and helping with light household tasks when needed
- Liaising with contractors and service providers
- Monitoring household supplies and assisting with inventories
- Running errands and shopping as required
- Providing general hands-on support across all areas of the household
- Anticipating the family's needs and responding proactively
- Light PA duties such as booking restaurants, etc.
- Maintaining discretion, professionalism, and high standards at all times
Candidate Requirements:
- A flexible, can-do attitude with a willingness to turn your hand to any task
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Calm, proactive, and able to work independently
- Comfortable in a dynamic household where no two days are the same
- Full UK driving licence is essential
Working Schedule:
- 5 days per week – flexibility for working hours is essential
- One weekend day off and one weekday off each week
- The successful candidate will be expected to take annual leave when the family is travelling
