Live-out Full-time Housekeeper / Nanny / Cook
Location: Highgate, London
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (flexible start/finish times). Occasional additional hours in the evenings and at weekends for childcare support.

The Role

We are assisting a busy family in Highgate who are seeking a professional and experienced live-out Housekeeper to join their household on a full‑time basis. Their much‑loved housekeeper of four years is sadly relocating, so they are now looking for someone long‑term to help manage their beautiful Grade II listed home with award‑winning interiors. The family home has five bedrooms and six bathrooms and is busy but well‑organised, with two school‑aged children (11 and 9) and a small family dog. This is a varied role requiring both housekeeping and occasional childcare support.

Responsibilities

  • Full housekeeping and household management for a large family home
  • Specialist care of antiques, designer furniture, luxury finishes, and fine fabrics
  • Laundry and ironing to a high standard, including delicate items and designer wardrobes
  • Family cooking – vegetarian household (experience with Asian cooking is ideal but not essential)
  • School runs and childcare when required, including supervision after school and occasional overnight cover when parents are away or attending events
  • Liaising with contractors, tradespeople, and gardeners
  • Running errands and general household organisation
