Housekeeper / Nanny / Cook – Notting Hill, London (Live-out)
Start: Early January 2026
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10.00am-6.00pm
Role split: 70% Housekeeping / 30% Childcare
Salary: £42,000 GPA

A lovely family based in Notting Hill are seeking a proactive, flexible, and experienced Housekeeper/Nanny to join their household on a long-term basis. The family have one daughter aged 2 years old and are planning to grow their family in the coming year.

This is a varied role combining high-level housekeeping and family support with occasional childcare. The successful candidate will be organised, reliable, and able to adapt to the family’s schedule, ensuring the smooth running of the household.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily cleaning and upkeep of the home to a high standard
  • Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management
  • Organising and maintaining household systems and storage
  • Cooking healthy family-style meals
  • Managing household supplies and general errands
  • Nursery pickups and drop-offs
  • Engaging the child in age-appropriate activities, playdates, and outings (parks, classes, museums, etc)
  • Babysitting once or twice per week
  • Proxy parenting one or two nights per month
  • Full-day childcare (9.00am–6.00pm) during half-term and school holidays
  • Assisting with bedtime and evening routines when required
  • The family travel 1–2 times per year and would like the Housekeeper/Nanny to accompany them on these trips
  • Flexibility to stay overnight when the husband is travelling
  • The family take approximately 5 weeks of holiday annually, and the Housekeeper/Nanny would be expected to take time off during these periods

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar combined role within a private household
  • Confident and capable with both housekeeping and childcare duties
  • Preferably strong English communication skills
