A lovely family of four based in Virginia Water, Surrey, is seeking a loyal, trustworthy, and flexible Gardener/Groundsperson to join their household team. The successful candidate will be an all-rounder with a hands-on, proactive approach, and the ability to work independently while fitting in harmoniously with the existing staff.
This is a varied and rewarding role based at a large private residence, requiring a combination of gardening, maintenance, pet care, and general support duties.
Duties to include but not limited to:
- Working alongside a long-term, part-time Gardener ensuring the grounds and gardens are well-maintained year-round
- Care and maintenance of the family vehicles
- Daily dog walking
- Pool maintenance and upkeep
- Receiving deliveries and opening gates for visitors
- General handyman tasks and property upkeep
- Liaising with and overseeing external contractors
- Providing weekly updates on tasks and maintenance
Ideal Candidate:
- Experienced in garden and grounds maintenance, ideally in a private household setting
- Sound knowledge of year-round lawn and plant care
- Practical and skilled in basic handyman duties
