Position Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced, highly organised, and commercially minded Executive Assistant & Business Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day running and continued growth of a dynamic business, with occasional oversight of personal and household matters. This is a varied role for a proactive, commercially minded individual with a strong growth mindset who can act as a trusted extension of the principal. The successful candidate will assist with operational oversight, project coordination, recruitment, team accountability, and business development initiatives, helping to ensure the business runs efficiently while actively supporting its continued growth and success. Key Responsibilities

  • Business Operations & Oversight
    • Act as a trusted right-hand to the principal, providing operational and administrative support across the business.
    • Develop a thorough understanding of the business, its people, operations, and objectives.
    • Assist with the day-to-day oversight of the business, ensuring priorities are executed effectively.
    • Monitor KPIs, objectives, and ongoing projects, ensuring actions are followed through and deadlines are met.
    • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and overall business performance.
    • Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders as required.
  • Commercial & Business Support
    • Support business development initiatives and assist in identifying opportunities for growth and revenue generation.
    • Conduct research, prepare reports, and provide recommendations to support decision-making.
    • Coordinate and drive forward projects, ensuring successful implementation and delivery.
    • Provide support across a range of business initiatives and ad hoc operational requirements.
  • Recruitment & Team Coordination
    • Manage recruitment processes across both the business and household.
    • Support onboarding and assist with maintaining accountability across teams.
    • Follow up on actions and objectives to ensure projects and business priorities remain on track.
  • Household & Personal Support
    • Oversee household recruitment and administration as required.
    • Provide support with personal projects and family-related matters.
    • Act as an extension of the principal, ensuring tasks are handled efficiently, proactively, and with discretion.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Executive Assistant, Senior Executive Assistant, Business Support Manager, Operations Coordinator.
  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
  • Commercially aware, with an understanding of business operations and growth.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and capable of working independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
