Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive, friendly, and highly organised candidate to support a warm and welcoming family in their private home. This is a varied position combining housekeeping and cooking responsibilities with very little childcare. The family have two daughters aged 7 and 4, with a hands-on mother who is actively involved in their daily care. The successful candidate will be confident working independently as well as collaboratively to ensure the smooth running of the household. The role is predominantly focused on housekeeping during the day, with childcare required after school and during school holidays. Evening duties will include meal preparation and supporting the children’s routines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full housekeeping of a 3-bedroom terraced home
  • Maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and overall presentation of the home
  • Laundry, ironing, and general household upkeep
  • Meal preparation and cooking (South American cuisine or willingness to learn)
  • Grocery shopping and household errands as required
  • School pick-up when needed
  • Supporting with homework and after-school routines
  • Preparing and assisting with family meals
  • Setting the table and maintaining a pleasant dining environment
  • Assisting with evening routines and getting the children ready for bed

Candidate Requirements

  • First Aid certificate - MUST
  • Previous experience in a similar all-rounder role within a private household
