Our client who is based in St John's Wood is seeking an experienced Temporary House Manager to oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the residence during a 1–2 month assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised, proactive and discreet professional with previous experience managing private households.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the household, ensuring exceptional standards are maintained
  • Manage household staff and coordinate schedules where required
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers and service providers
  • Coordinate household maintenance and oversee ongoing projects
  • Manage household inventories, deliveries and procurement of supplies
  • Handle diary management, appointments and household logistics
  • Support the principals with ad hoc requests and errands
  • Ensure the home is guest-ready at all times and resolve any day-to-day issues efficiently

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a House Manager within a private household
  • Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with discretion and professionalism
  • Strong leadership skills and confidence working independently

Location: St John's Wood, London

Contract: 1–2 months

Working days: Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work as required
