We are seeking experienced Temporary Butlers to support a private family residence during an extended principal visit commencing around 24th June for an anticipated period of 4–6 weeks. Assignments will be booked on a weekly basis with rolling renewals throughout the family's stay. This is an excellent opportunity for hospitality professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, high-standard private service environment and are confident delivering exceptional guest experiences with discretion and professionalism.
The residence operates in a fast-paced and energetic setting with high service standards. Successful candidates will be comfortable working long shifts, adapting to changing guest requirements, and maintaining professionalism at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-level food and beverage service to principals, family members, and guests.
- Provide professional tray service and table service throughout the estate.
- Set and maintain dining tables to impeccable standards.
- Prepare and serve basic cocktails, coffee, and other beverages.
- Assist with private events, receptions, and entertaining requirements.
- Maintain presentation standards across service areas.
- Anticipate guest needs while ensuring complete discretion and confidentiality.
- Work collaboratively with the wider household and hospitality teams.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities in a dynamic private household environment.
- Previous experience within luxury hospitality, private households, estates, hotels, restaurants, or similar service environments.
- Strong waiter/waitress service skills, including tray carrying and formal table service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a physically demanding role across a large estate.
- Discreet, personable, and service-focused approach.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Accommodation provided at Travelodge Camberley. Shuttle transport arranged between accommodation and the estate. For shifts finishing at 04:00, taxi/Uber transport will be arranged and reimbursed.
Return rail travel between London Waterloo and Sunningdale will be reimbursed. Uber/taxi travel between Sunningdale Station and the estate will be reimbursed. All transport costs directly related to attending shifts are covered.
