Our client, with a residence in Mayfair, London, is looking for Temporary Butlers to work at a formal household. For cultural reasons they are looking for Female Butlers only at this time. The property is a large operation with many members of staff jointly ensuring that the highest standards are delivered at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests of the principal, and ensure service standards are maintained throughout their visit
  • Ensure the security and privacy of the property and principal are always maintained
  • To be accountable for all visitors, and ensure they follow the property's privacy policy
  • Take requests for food and drink, and liaise with the kitchen staff and travelling entourage
  • Restock and ensure all amenities are neatly presented throughout the property
  • Monitor stock levels within the property to ensure there is enough supplies for all the principal’s and employees' needs
  • Communicate with the House Manager any requests received by the entourage to organise a plan for procurement
  • Provide support directly to other teams onsite when the occasion arises

Qualifications

  • Knowledge on wines, cookery, and dining protocols
  • Proficiency in planning, purchasing, and maintaining supplies and inventories
  • Impeccable organisational and planning skills
  • The ability to delegate activities and manage others
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask
  • Outstanding client-relations skills, and professionalism

Dates: 18th December through to the first week of January depending on the principal's movements

Time: 8-10 hour shifts on a rota system

Location: Mayfair, London

Salary: £28 gph
