The family has two children; however, the role is solely focused on providing overnight care for their son, who requires additional support due to special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overnight care, comfort, and supervision for the child
- Support his specific SEN needs with patience and consistency
- Implement and maintain a calm, structured bedtime routine
- Monitor his sleep and respond promptly if required during the night
- Ensure a safe and nurturing environment
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience working with SEN children (essential)
- Professional, calm, and compassionate approach
- Strong understanding of SEN, ideally with training or background in relevant disciplines
- DBS check and up-to-date paediatric first aid certification
