A wonderful opportunity has arisen for an experienced, polished and highly discreet Ladies' Maid/Housekeeper to support a UHNW female Principal based in Mayfair, with frequent travel to international residences.
Working within a fully staffed household, you will be responsible for maintaining the Principal's private apartments to impeccable standards whilst providing seamless wardrobe management and personal support. This role requires someone who is exceptionally organised, proactive and service-focused, with previous experience supporting a Principal in a private household.
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, anticipate the Principal's needs with minimal direction and be comfortable travelling both within the UK and internationally when required.
Duties to include:
- Full care and management of the Principal's wardrobe, including organisation, seasonal rotation and inventory management
- Packing and unpacking luggage for frequent domestic and international travel
- Preparing clothing, footwear and accessories for meetings, events, travel and daily engagements
- Maintaining the Principal's private bedroom suites, dressing rooms, bathrooms and living areas to impeccable standards
- Laundry, ironing and specialist garment care
- Monitoring and replenishing personal supplies, toiletries and amenities
- Accompanying the Principal during travel, ensuring residences and hotel accommodation are prepared and maintained to the highest standard
- Working collaboratively with the wider household team to deliver seamless service
- Anticipating the Principal's requirements with professionalism, efficiency and discretion
- Maintaining absolute confidentiality at all times
- Assisting with any additional duties as requested by the Principal or House Manager
The ideal candidate will have:
- Female due to cultural reasons
- Previous experience as a Ladies' Maid, Wardrobe Manager or Housekeeper within a private UHNW household
- Experience working within a fast-paced private residence
- Excellent wardrobe management and garment care skills
- Exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- A proactive, flexible and positive attitude
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing schedules
- Excellent spoken and written English preferred
- Confidence using an iPhone and WhatsApp
- A valid passport with unrestricted international travel
- Residence within approximately one hour of Mayfair
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and travel internationally as required
