Overview
We are seeking a highly professional, meticulous, and service-driven Housekeeper to join a fully staffed UHNW private household. Working with a large and well-established team, this is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who thrives in a structured, team-oriented environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional standards of service.
The Household & Team
- Single female principal
- Small, friendly dog within the household
- Fully staffed property
- House Manager, Chef and additional support staff
- A minimum of 3 Housekeepers working in the property at any one time
Working Schedule
- 45 hours per week on a rota basis
- Rota provided 2 weeks in advance
- Your main shift would be 2 or 3 nights per week. 6pm (18:00) - 9am
- You would be asleep whilst on shift in a private accommodation within the house. But just on call if needed
- You would only be required to do 2 or 3 shifts per week and would have 48hrs off in-between shifts
- Flexible to work these other shifts if needed but you would be taken off the night shift and given 2 week notice.
- These shifts are also Live-out -09:00 – 18:00, 12:00 – 21:00, 13:00 – 22:00
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the household to an exceptional standard, ensuring all rooms are cleaned, cared for, and inspected
- Follow structured task lists provided by the House Manager
- Ensure pantries are fully stocked, organised, and monitored (including expiry dates)
- Prepare light meals or assist with food preparation when required
- Liaise effectively with the Chef and wider household team
- Provide care for the principal’s dog (feeding, water, general tidiness)
- Accompany the principal when required
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly

- Highly detail-oriented with a meticulous approach

- Previous experience within UHNW private households
- 2–5 years’ experience in a similar role within a private household
- Flexible and adaptable to rota-based work, including occasional night shifts
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- High standards of housekeeping and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Discreet with a strong understanding of confidentiality
