Our UHNW client, based in Mayfair, is seeking an exceptional and highly experienced Head Chauffeur to lead their professional chauffeur team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an accomplished chauffeur with strong leadership skills to oversee the smooth operation of a busy private household transport department while continuing to provide first-class driving services to the Principal and family.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of three Chauffeurs, overseeing a fleet of seven luxury vehicles, and ensuring the highest standards of service, discretion, and professionalism are consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily chauffeur services for the Principal and family, ensuring safety, punctuality and discretion at all times.
  • Lead, manage and support a team of three Chauffeurs, overseeing rotas, performance and daily operations.
  • Coordinate all driving schedules to ensure seamless coverage for the family's requirements.
  • Oversee the maintenance, servicing and presentation of a fleet of seven luxury vehicles, ensuring they are always in immaculate condition and ready for use.
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections and liaise with suppliers and service providers as required.
  • Drive confidently throughout London and the UK, maintaining excellent route planning and traffic awareness.
  • Work closely with household staff to coordinate travel arrangements and logistics.
  • Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality, professionalism and security awareness at all times.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Head Chauffeur, Senior Chauffeur or in a supervisory chauffeur role within a UHNW household or for a high-profile individual.
  • Demonstrable experience managing chauffeur teams and overseeing luxury vehicle fleets.
  • Extensive experience driving high-end luxury vehicles, with Rolls-Royce experience being essential.
  • Exceptional knowledge of London roads and surrounding areas.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a small team.
  • Immaculate presentation and excellent communication skills.
  • A clean UK driving licence.
  • Demonstrated longevity and commitment within previous positions.
  • Flexible, adaptable and willing to work occasional evenings and weekends as required.
  • Highly security conscious with complete discretion.
  • Must reside within a 45-minute drive of Mayfair.

Team Structure

The Head Chauffeur will lead a team of four drivers (including themselves), ensuring seamless transport operations and exceptional service for the Principal and family.

Schedule

5 days on / 2 days off (rota-based, including weekends where required). Hours: 7:00am – 6:30pm. £70,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
