Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Full-Time Housekeeper/Cook to join their private household in Greenwich. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional Housekeeper who enjoys working independently, takes pride in maintaining exceptionally high standards, and is confident managing the day-to-day upkeep of a busy family home.
The successful candidate will be organised, self-motivated and able to prioritise their workload effectively, ensuring the household runs smoothly at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Housekeeping and cleaning to an exceptional standard
- Full laundry and ironing, including wardrobe care
- Maintaining the overall presentation of both the interior and exterior areas of the property
- Managing household inventories, including cleaning products and general supplies
- Rotating food stock, monitoring expiry dates and ensuring cupboards, pantry and fridges remain well organised
- Ordering cleaning products and household essentials as required
- Managing deliveries, parcels and returns
- Preparing breakfast and lunch for the principals to take to work, along with occasional evening meal preparation
- Working independently and managing daily tasks efficiently
Candidate Requirements
- Approximately 10 years' experience working within private households
- Excellent housekeeping, laundry and organisational skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and work with minimal supervision
- A proactive, flexible and positive approach
- Discreet, reliable and professional
- A full UK driving licence is preferred, but not essential
Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm, with flexibility to work occasional weekends when required (advance notice will always be provided).
