Key Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Sous Chef and Executive Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Lead a section and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality dishes
- Maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, and cleanliness
- Support and guide junior chefs, ensuring development and consistency
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and COSHH regulations
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
- Contribute ideas to menus and daily specials
- Ensure smooth service during busy periods, maintaining calm and organisation
Person Specification
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar level within a quality kitchen
- Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen standards
- Passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients and high-quality food
- Have multiple AA Rosette Cooking Experience or similar standard
- Good leadership skills with the ability to support and motivate a team
- Calm under pressure with strong organisational skills
- Willingness to learn, develop, and progress within the kitchen
