Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation across all kitchen and food and beverage back of house areas
  • Ensure crockery, equipment, and kitchen areas meet food hygiene and safety standards
  • Accept and store deliveries correctly for food and beverage outlets and housekeeping
  • Support chefs and the wider team during busy service periods when required
  • Assist with linen handling and housekeeping porter duties when required
  • Support the movement and set‑up of furniture and equipment across departments
  • Follow all health and safety, fire, hygiene, and COSHH regulations at all times
  • Carry out other reasonable duties requested by hotel management

Person Specification

  • Previous cleaning or back of house experience within hospitality or a similar environment preferred
  • Understanding the importance of cleanliness and hygiene within kitchen and operational areas
  • Able to work across multiple back of house areas and support different departments when needed
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to support colleagues and work as part of a team
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and able to remain calm under pressure
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions from supervisors and team members
  • Passion for hospitality and pride in maintaining high standards
