Working within the Grounds team, you will help care for Fanhams Hall’s historic gardens and grounds, ensuring they remain a welcoming and memorable environment for guests throughout the year. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain gardens, lawns, flower beds, shrubs and landscaped areas to a high standard
- Carry out planting, pruning, weeding and seasonal garden maintenance
- Operate and maintain gardening equipment safely and effectively
- Support the upkeep and presentation of the Japanese water garden and surrounding grounds
- Assist with irrigation, watering and plant care programmes
- Report any maintenance or health and safety concerns promptly
- Work collaboratively with the wider hotel and maintenance teams
Person Specification
- Previous gardening, horticultural or grounds maintenance experience preferred
- Passion for gardening and maintaining outdoor spaces
