Job Introduction

We are actively seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Spa Duty Manager to join our team at the award-winning Spa here at Pennyhill Park in Bagshot, Surrey. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out duty management shifts to assist with the day-to-day operation of the Spa, as well as supporting the Spa Membership Sales Manager in achieving the membership budget with a focus on retention.

We operate seven days a week, so flexibility with your availability and the ability to work a variety of shifts are essential. The earliest shift could start at 5:30 am to open the spa, and the latest could be until 10 pm to close the spa.

The Spa Duty Manager will be responsible for…

• Ensuring the Spa maintains high standards of housekeeping and efficient operation
• Ensuring the customer journey throughout the Spa is of high quality and resolving any issues
• Championing guest and member services in the Spa
• Being the face of the Spa, welcoming all members and visitors, and being present in public areas
• Managing guest and member feedback, communicating with departments, and keeping records up to date
• Supporting the Spa Membership Sales Manager in membership retention through organizing member events and enhancing membership offerings
• Assisting with the management of membership accounts and subscription fees
• Upselling retail and treatments
• Driving membership sales alongside the Spa Membership Sales Manager
• Carrying out duty management shifts

The Ideal Candidate

Are you right for us?

• Passionate about delivering professional, efficient, and exceptional guest service with strong organizational skills
• Industry relevant qualifications such as degree, HND, or Advanced GNVQ
• Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role within a similar environment, with experience in training, systems, IT, financial management, guest services, and health and safety management
• Flexible and enthusiastic about the profession
