We are actively seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Spa Duty Manager to join our team in the award-winning Spa here at Pennyhill Park in Bagshot, Surrey. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out duty management shifts to assist with the day-to-day operation of the Spa, as well as assisting the Spa Membership Sales Manager with achieving the membership budget with a focus on membership retention.
We operate seven days a week, so you need to be flexible with your availability and prepared to work a variety of shifts. The earliest start would be 5:30 am to open the spa, and the latest shift could be until 10 pm to close the spa.
Role Responsibilities
- Ensure the Spa maintains high standards of housekeeping and operates efficiently
- Ensure the customer journey throughout the Spa is of a high standard and resolve any issues
- Champion guest and member services in the Spa
- Be the face of the Spa, welcoming members and visitors, and being present in public areas
- Manage guest and member feedback, communicate with departments, and keep records up to date
- Assist the Spa Membership Sales Manager with membership retention by organizing member events and enhancing membership offerings
- Assist with management of membership accounts and subscription fees
- Upsell retail and treatments
- Drive membership sales alongside the Spa Membership Sales Manager
- Carry out duty management shifts
The Ideal Candidate
- Passionate about delivering professional, efficient, and exceptional guest service with strong organizational skills
- Industry-relevant qualifications such as degree, HND, or Advanced GNVQ
- Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role within a similar environment, with experience in training, systems, IT skills, financial acumen, guest services, and health and safety management
- Flexible and enthusiastic about the profession
