You will join as a Sommelier at the Michelin starred restaurant, The Pass, playing a key role in delivering a refined and memorable dining experience within our award-winning restaurant. Working closely with the Sommelier team and chefs, you will support the smooth running of service, ensuring wines are presented with confidence and care while enhancing the overall guest journey. This role would be ideally suited to someone with previous Sommelier experience at a restaurant with a Michelin star or AA Rosette.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of wine service during service, ensuring attention to detail and consistency
  • Work closely with the Sommelier and restaurant team to enhance the guest dining experience
  • Maintain wine stations, glassware and service areas to the highest standards
  • Assist with wine preparation, service flow and coordination with the kitchen pass
  • Build knowledge of the wine list and confidently communicate recommendations when required
  • Contribute to a smooth, organised and professional service environment

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food and beverage environment
  • Passion for wine and a desire to develop knowledge further
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
  • Confident communicator with a positive and team-focused approach
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-quality service environment
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
