We are actively seeking a Linen Porter/ Laundry Porter to work flexible hours during our busy periods. You will join the Housekeeping team and ensure the hotel maintains high cleanliness standards. Your duties include assisting with linen movement, stock, delivery, and supporting room attendants with furniture, beds, and cots.
Role Responsibilities
- Clean bedrooms and public areas, including deep cleaning tasks, as required.
- Move heavy linen and towels around the hotel.
- Count and record dirty or rejected linen.
- Assist Room Attendants and the Daily Supervisor with moving beds, twinning rooms, and stripping beds.
- Maintain cleanliness of corridors to the required standard.
- Ensure sufficient supplies of laundry and amenities are available in housekeeping cupboards.
- Keep linen and store cupboards clean, tidy, and secure when not in use.
- Report lost property following the proper procedures.
- Follow Health and Safety, Manual Handling, and COSHH regulations at all times.
