We are looking for a passionate Chef de Partie to join our Banqueting Kitchen team. As a Chef de Partie, you will take ownership of a designated section within the Banqueting Kitchen, supporting the delivery of high-quality food across a diverse range of events. Working closely with the Sous Chefs and Executive Chef, you will help ensure exceptional standards, consistency and efficiency while developing your culinary career within a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead a designated section within the Banqueting Kitchen, ensuring dishes are prepared and presented to consistently high standards.
- Manage daily preparation, organisation and workflow to support a variety of events, functions and banqueting services.
- Ensure all mise en place is completed efficiently and to specification ahead of service.
- Supervise and support Demi Chefs and Commis Chefs during preparation and service periods.
- Monitor food quality, portion control and presentation across all banqueting menus.
- Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene and allergen standards throughout your section.
- Support ordering, stock rotation, stock control and effective ingredient management to minimise waste.
- Work closely with Sous Chefs and the Executive Chef to deliver seamless service for weddings, conferences, private dining and special events.
- Contribute ideas to improve menu execution, kitchen organisation and the overall guest experience.
- Assist with training and developing junior chefs, helping to build a positive and high-performing kitchen culture.
Person Specification
- Experience as a Chef de Partie or an experienced Demi Chef de Partie ready to take the next step.
- Confident running a section within a high-quality hotel, banqueting, events or hospitality environment.
- Strong cooking skills with excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional food.
- Experience working within high-volume service while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and allergen management.
- Ability to supervise, motivate and develop junior chefs.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and event requirements.
- Calm, professional and adaptable when working under pressure.
