Drama Teacher Required

Salary/Rate: £140‑£240 per day depending on experience

Overview

Exclusive Education is looking to appoint a Drama Teacher to work in a secondary school in Wigan. The role will start in September on an on‑going basis. The teacher will take over the class and demonstrate outstanding teaching in a friendly, lively and vibrant school. The role is suitable for an NQT or a qualified Drama Teacher, provided they can implement strong behaviour management strategies and adhere to school policies. Previous teaching experience is desirable.

Key responsibilities

  • Take over the drama class and deliver lessons in line with the Drama/Performing Arts curricula.
  • Implement strong behaviour management strategies whilst adhering to school policies.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE, B.Ed. or a BA Hons.
  • Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
  • Have previous experience of working with children.
  • Previous drama teaching experience.
  • Two references working with children covering the last 2 years.
  • Hold a current DBS registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
