We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teachers to join our supply agency and work across a range of secondary schools in Liverpool.

As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective mathematics lessons, supporting students' academic development, and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons in line with the school's curriculum.
  • Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with GCSE experience desirable.
  • Adapt lessons to meet the needs of students with different abilities and learning styles.
  • Maintain a positive, safe and well-managed classroom environment.
  • Assess and monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Support students in developing their mathematical knowledge, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers and school staff.
  • Follow school policies, procedures and safeguarding requirements.
  • Maintain high expectations of student behaviour, achievement and engagement.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Maths within a UK secondary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • A passion for Maths and a commitment to helping students achieve their potential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different school environments.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
