We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join a supportive school setting in Speke. This is a full-time role, starting immediately, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs, including SEMH.

The Role

  • Planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet individual pupil needs
  • Supporting students with a range of SEN, including SEMH
  • Creating a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment
  • Working collaboratively with support staff, parents, and external professionals
  • Managing behaviour in line with school policies

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience working with children with SEN/SEMH needs
  • Childcare experience required
  • Classroom experience within SEN settings is desirable but not essential
  • Healthcare experience is acceptable
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • Candidates without one must be willing to cover the cost of obtaining it
