Exclusive Education is looking to appoint a Secondary SEN Learning Mentor to work across KS3 and KS4 at a secondary school in the Widnes area. This is a full-time role starting ASAP.
The ideal candidate will have previous SEN Teaching Assistant experience and be confident working with the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
Requirements:
- Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g., NCFE, CACHE, NVQ Level 1, 2, or 3) (desirable but not essential)
- Eligibility to work in the UK or UK residency
- Previous experience working with children within the last 2 years
- Good knowledge of the secondary curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs
- Experience with KS3, KS4, and KS5
- Two references working with children
- Current DBS registered with the update service or willingness to apply for a new one
