We are seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Qualified Early Years Practitioner to work on a supply basis across a range of nursery and early years settings. This role offers flexibility and variety while allowing you to make a meaningful impact in high-quality early years environments. You will support children aged 0-5 with their learning, development, and wellbeing, following the EYFS framework and maintaining a warm, nurturing atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and learning opportunities for children aged 0-5.
- Support children's personal, social, emotional, and educational development.
- Set up engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS.
- Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies at all times.
- Work collaboratively with staff teams in different early years settings.
- Build positive relationships with children, staff, and families.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment.
Requirements
- Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience working with young children in a nursery or EYFS setting.
- Warm, engaging, and professional approach.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS and child development.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different nursery environments.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A current DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
