KS1 Teaching Assistant Required. Exclusive Education is looking to appoint a KS1 Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school in the Wigan area. This role is for 5 days a week; however, part-time candidates will be considered, and it is to start as soon as possible on an ongoing basis.

The ideal candidate will have previous KS1 Teaching Assistant experience. In order to be considered for this role, we require you to meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a relevant KS1 Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3)
  • Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
  • Have previous KS1 Teaching Assistant experience in the last 2 years
  • Excellent knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Previous Early Years, KS1 OR KS2 experience
  • Two references working with children
  • Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
