Exclusive Education is currently recruiting Primary Teachers to join a range of supportive and welcoming primary schools across the Wigan area. Whether you're looking to build experience in Early Years, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, we have opportunities to suit your preferences—offering both short-term supply roles and long-term placements.
These roles are ideal for anyone who is ready to lead a classroom and make a positive impact from day one. You’ll be working in friendly, lively, and inclusive school settings that value creativity, commitment, and a strong passion for teaching.
To be considered for these roles as a Primary Teacher, you must:
- Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS (e.g. PGCE, B.Ed., BA Hons with QTS)
- Be eligible to work in the UK
- Have experience working with children (school placements included)
- Be able to provide two references covering the last two years, ideally from placements or child-related settings
- Hold a current DBS registered to the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Foster a positive learning environment through effective behaviour management techniques.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and development.
- Assess and evaluate student performance, providing feedback and support as needed.
