Exclusive Education is seeking a committed and enthusiastic KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Wigan area. This role is available for 5 days per week, although part-time applications will be considered. The position is to start as soon as possible and will be ongoing for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a KS1 Teaching Assistant and a passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
Essential Requirements- Hold a relevant KS1 Teaching Assistant qualification (NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3)
- Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
- Have previous KS1 Teaching Assistant experience within the last 2 years
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Have previous Early Years, KS1 or KS2 experience
- Be able to provide two professional references working with children
- Hold a current DBS registered with the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new one
