Exclusive Education is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated ICT Teacher to work within an SEN school in the North West. This ICT Teacher role is full-time ideally, although part-time hours will be considered for the right candidate. The ideal ICT Teacher will have previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Autism, ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health needs. The successful Teacher will be passionate about delivering engaging and accessible ICT lessons that inspire pupils and support their individual learning needs.
Key Responsibilities of the ICT Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging ICT lessons tailored to pupils with Special Educational Needs
- Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet individual learning styles and abilities
- Support pupils to develop confidence and independence through the use of technology
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment as an effective ICT Teacher
- Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress in line with school policies
- Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, therapists, and external professionals to support pupil development
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively using positive behaviour management strategies
