Role Exclusive Education are looking to recruit a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support at a welcoming secondary school in the Bolton area.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4 in a range of subjects
- Work alongside teachers to support lesson delivery and classroom activities
- Deliver targeted interventions and small group sessions to support student progress
- Provide one-to-one support for students where required, including those with additional needs
- Assist with preparation of classroom resources and learning materials
- Promote positive behaviour and support classroom management strategies
- Monitor and report on student progress to teaching staff
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
- HLTA or Level 3 TA Qualification
- Experience supporting students across KS3 and KS4 is ideal but primary or other settings are accepted
- Good understanding of classroom practices and behaviour management
- A proactive, flexible, and supportive approach
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
