About the Role
Exclusive Education is currently recruiting a Secondary Teaching Assistant for a welcoming secondary school in Tameside. This long-term opportunity is ideal for an experienced Teaching Assistant, a recent graduate or an aspiring teacher.
Working across Key Stages 3 and 4, you will support students in lessons, deliver small group interventions, and help create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support students within the classroom across a range of subjects
- Deliver one-to-one and small group support where required
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities
- Promote positive behaviour and student engagement
- Support students with varying learning abilities and needs
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
You will need
- 2 references which comment on you working with young people or in a care setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, enthusiastic, and flexible approach
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
