Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children aged 0–5
- Support the planning and delivery of engaging and age-appropriate activities
- Observe, assess, and record children’s progress in line with the EYFS framework
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents/carers, and colleagues
- Promote children’s personal, social, emotional, and physical development
- Work effectively as part of a dedicated team to maintain high standards of care
- Ensure all safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all times
What we require
- Hold a recognised childcare qualification at Level 2 or above (e.g. CACHE, NVQ, BTEC)
- Previous experience working in an early years setting
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Warm, caring, and patient approach to working with young children
- A commitment to promoting equal opportunities and safeguarding
- At least 6 months experience within the last 2 years ideally within Early Years
- Enhanced DBS check on the online update service or willing to get one
- Ability to provide two professional childcare references within the last 2 years
