Salary – £92 per day

Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children aged 0–5
  • Support the planning and delivery of engaging and age-appropriate activities
  • Observe, assess, and record children’s progress in line with the EYFS framework
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents/carers, and colleagues
  • Promote children’s personal, social, emotional, and physical development
  • Work effectively as part of a dedicated team to maintain high standards of care
  • Ensure all safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all times

What we require

  • Hold a recognised childcare qualification at Level 2 or above (e.g. CACHE, NVQ, BTEC)
  • Previous experience working in an early years setting
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Warm, caring, and patient approach to working with young children
  • A commitment to promoting equal opportunities and safeguarding
  • At least 6 months experience within the last 2 years ideally within Early Years
  • Enhanced DBS check on the online update service or willing to get one
  • Ability to provide two professional childcare references within the last 2 years
