The fact they have a wealth creation (equity) scheme for their staff isn't the only thing different about this business. It still proudly provides first class financial advice (Trustpilot will tell you that). But it has a clear mission - to give great financial planning advice whether someone has £20,000 or £250,000. That means tackling pension poverty, giving much needed peace of mind to the tens of thousands of people who feel excluded from financial planning, and tackling the advice gap.

THE JOB

You’ll join the firm’s advice team and will be speaking to clients from an early stage. To start with that means leading the initial consultation and doing a deep dive on each client’s situation. But you’ll also get to develop and become the adviser who presents the advice and signs it off. Along the way you’ll get training. A lot of it. The firm are big believers in it and they run three sessions per week for the existing team. Combine that with the many conversations you’ll have with clients each day and your development will be considerable. Because ultimately you get good at something by doing it. And the more you do of it the quicker and better you get.

Sadly, glass ceilings are real and pathways to advice are limited in the wider market. But not here.

THE PAY

You can earn £100,000+ here, made up of salary (£50,000) and performance‑related bonus. That level of income is realistic because the model works. The firm has strong lead generation, excellent conversion rates, proper support, and a client base that needs advice. There is also a wider profit‑sharing bonus scheme and a wealth creation/equity‑style scheme for staff, meaning you can build a genuine stake as the business grows. So yes, you’ll be expected to work hard - this is not a sleepy advisory role. But if you’re commercially sharp, client‑focused and motivated by income, the upside is obvious.

THE BUSINESS

This firm is growing quickly because it has gone after a part of the market many traditional firms ignore. It believes good financial advice should not be reserved for people with £500,000, £1m or more to invest. Its mission is to help clients who often feel excluded from financial planning: people with meaningful pension pots, important decisions to make, and a genuine need for advice. That means the work is high‑volume and focused. But it also means it matters. The firm brought in well over £100m AUM in 2025 and continues to grow quickly. It has invested heavily in people, process and technology, including paraplanners, client journey support, success managers and experienced senior hires from major wealth management firms. So while the feel is energetic and entrepreneurial, this is not a chaotic environment. There is structure. There is support. There is momentum.

WHO WILL THIS SUIT?

  • Comfortable working to a process
  • Good at building trust quickly
  • Commercially minded
  • Motivated by income
  • Happy speaking to clients all day
  • Comfortable with a full diary
  • Honest enough to admit that sales is part of advice
  • Happy being office based (City of London)
  • Tired of prospecting, networking or waiting for a client bank to grow

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Level 4 qualified (or close to) is great and you will need to secure it. But in short the biggest thing you need is confidence/knowledge around pensions. You’ll be ready to advise. You’ll learn on the job and have expectations placed on you quickly so need to be OK with that. Because this isn’t a traditional financial planning job. By the nature of what they do advice is much more transactional/one‑off - so if you’re looking to work with the same HNW clients for 20 years this isn’t for you. You’ll be motivated by working for a firm with a mission. You’ll want to start your advice journey now and make big strides quickly. It is a young, energetic, vibrant outfit and that will be important to you too. You will want to and enjoy working in an office environment. The offices are fantastic and you’ll know that working with your team will aid your development like nothing else.
