The primary focus is overseeing the design and delivery of training plans and sessions, sharing best practices internally and externally. You\’ll also collaborate with the technical support team and participate in company events, hosting webinars and in-person sessions alongside senior leadership.

Coordination with the helpdesk team will keep your training relevant and up-to-date. The role is part of a strategic replacement of a retiring training manager, with a handover process and support from an experienced assistant.

Salary is around £60,000, with flexibility, plus benefits like pension, 25 days holiday, and PMI. The benefits package is under review and may expand.

This is a significant role with opportunities to elevate your profile and make a meaningful impact for clients and the profession.

Requirements:

• Experience as a trainer within financial planning, with a track record of delivering online and in-person sessions.
• Level 6 qualification or close to it; strong pensions knowledge and broader wealth management understanding are essential.
• Understanding of key technical challenges faced by IFAs and their product usage.
• Leadership or management experience, with at least one direct report.
• Willingness to travel for UK-wide events and presentations, both online and in person.

Operational meetings are once a month in Manchester, but attendance is helpful rather than mandatory.
