Our client is seeking a Subsidence Engineer / Building Surveyor to deal with a portfolio of subsidence and perils property damage (fire, flood, storm etc) claims up to £500,000 in value, primarily working from the desk. From time to time, as required, you will be expected to visit sites to assess the damage and determine causation / policy liability.
Responsibilities:
- You will write / submit full reports, outlining your findings and advising with regards to nature and extent of damage.
- You will also negotiate with contractors, suppliers, and other parties involved in the claim.
Qualifications:
Ideally, you will be MBEng, MRICS or AssocRICS (minimum) qualified.
