Our client is seeking a Senior / Executive Structural Engineer to investigate, analyse and report on structural failures to major & complex structures, damage and construction defects.
Responsibilities
- Work from home and operate throughout the Greater London / South East regions.
- Survey / determine causation and assess the extent of damage caused.
- Write / submit full reports, outlining findings and advising clients with regards to policy liability and nature / extent of damage.
- Act as an Expert Witness in depositions and court proceedings regarding construction defects and/or failures, as required.
- Design repair schemes / remedial measures, as well as project manage multiple repairs, ensuring compliance with building codes and maintaining project timelines and budgets.
Qualifications
- Ideally, MIStructE qualified.
- Additional relevant experience as a Senior / Executive Structural Engineer in investigation, reporting and repair design is implied by responsibilities.
