The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
Our client is seeking a Structural Engineer to investigate, analyse and report on structural failures to major & complex structures, damage and construction defects.
You will work from home and operate throughout The Midlands (Birmingham, Nottingham etc) regions. In terms of investigation, you will survey/determine causation and assess the extent of damage caused. You will write/submit full reports, outlining your findings and advising clients with regards to policy liability and nature/extent of damage.
As required, you will act as an Expert Witness in depositions and court proceedings regarding construction defects and/or failures. Additionally, you will design repair schemes/remedial measures, as well as project manage multiple repairs, ensuring compliance with building codes and maintaining project timelines and budgets.
Ideally, you will be MIStructE qualified.
