Overview

You love being a financial planner but are at a stage where you need support, access to clients, and direction. You need a business to invest in you, providing structure and resources to develop your career—offering a salary and client leads, not expecting you to find them yourself.

This firm provides all of that.

This national business acquires clients from retiring advisers, who then need an adviser. That adviser will be you.

Your Role

You’ll join an existing team of over 40 to ensure ongoing excellent service for current clients, building trust and developing new business. You’ll have access to top technology and dedicated support staff, focusing your time on clients rather than admin.

Long-term, you may choose to move into a self-employed role with a firm offering some of the best commission splits. Three team members have already made this transition, but it’s optional.

Compensation

In the first year, you\’ll earn between £48,750 and £50,750, excluding sales bonuses. By the second year, this will increase to up to £53,000 annually, also excluding bonuses.

This remuneration package includes:

  • A starting salary of £36,000 – £38,000 (depending on experience)
  • A KPI/compliance bonus (focused on client care, retention, and file quality, not sales) adding £12,750 in year one and £15,000 from year two onwards

Additionally, there’s a sales bonus based on new client investments, providing further income.

Training & Working Environment

You’ll benefit from a structured onboarding program that has successfully trained over 30 advisers with no prior financial planning experience. Post-induction, you can choose to work hybrid or from home, with office visits once or twice a month.

About the Company

You’ll be working for a profitable, growing business with a strong record of staff development and a positive work environment, offering excellent career pathways.

Requirements

You should have around 2 years of post-CAS experience as a financial adviser/planner, with suitable Level 4 qualifications. Location-wise, being in the North or Midlands is preferred due to travel requirements (1-2 times a month to Newcastle). Depending on your location, a hybrid or remote working arrangement is possible.

Next Steps

If you’re ready to become the adviser you aspire to be, click apply, and we’ll be in touch. Don’t worry if your CV isn’t up to date; we can assist with that later. Everyone will receive a response.
