Things haven’t quite gone to plan, have they?

You love being a financial planner, but you’re at a stage in your career where you need support, access to clients, and direction.

In short, you need a business to invest in you, providing structure and resources to develop your career. A firm that pays a salary and brings clients to you, rather than expecting you to find them yourself.

This firm will do all of that.

This national business acquires clients from retiring advisers. Those clients need an adviser, and that adviser will be you.

You’ll join an existing team of over 40 to ensure ongoing excellent service for current clients. You’ll build trust and develop new business. You’ll have access to top technology and support from a dedicated customer care team. Your time will be spent with clients, not on admin.

Long-term, you’ll have the option to move into a self-employed role with a firm offering some of the best commission splits. Three team members have already made this transition. However, this is optional.

Meanwhile, you’ll receive a solid income. In the first year, you’ll earn between £48,750 and £50,750, excluding sales bonuses. By the second year, this will increase to around £53,000 annually, also excluding sales bonuses.

This remuneration package includes:

  • A starting salary of £36,000 – £38,000, depending on experience
  • A KPI/compliance bonus (focused on client care, retention, and file quality, not sales) adding up to £12,750 in year one and £15,000 from year two onwards

Once established, there’s also a sales bonus as you acquire new clients and grow client investments.

The onboarding and training are highly structured. The firm has trained over 30 advisers with no prior financial planning experience. They are excellent resources for your development.

After induction, you can work on a hybrid basis or remotely, with office visits once or twice a month.

If you apply, you’ll join a profitable, growing company with a strong track record of staff development and a positive work environment. It offers one of the best career pathways in the industry.

WHAT YOU\’LL NEED

Approximately 2 years post-CAS experience as a financial adviser/planner with suitable level 4 qualifications.

Depending on location, you’ll be hybrid or remote, with travel to Newcastle 1-2 times a month. Ideally, you are based in the North or Midlands.
